A visit with TQ...

I am supposed to be in Cuyutlan right now enjoying 36C weather but I am somewhat stranded in BC with 36F weather instead.
On Friday morning I checked-in for my 5am departure from Bellingham via Seattle and LAX to Manzanillo. A little while later I got an email from Alaska Air informing me that my flight had been cancelled. Turns out the road to the airport in Manzanillo had washed out ... repairs were estimated at 10-15 days. Since then I have heard that the airport itself had suffered damage...I would think that it was directly in the path of Hurricane Jova.
I tried to reschedule my flight to Manzanillo but the next 2 flights (Saturdays only LAX to ZLO) are full. I could have flown away November 5th but who knows if the airport will be fixed so now I'm flying down with Meg in early December. It is always more fun to fly, and way less stressful, with a companion.
